You are Invited to Attend:

The 400-year commemoration of the Transatlantic Slave Trade that began in 1619.

This convocation to Ancestors will occur on Tuesday evening at twilight on October 1, 2019, from 6 pm to 8 pm at the 17th Street Farmer’s Market Plaza, formally a slave auction plaza.

Free to the public, please come prepared to honor and “Remember Them” ending with a reading of a City proclamation that for perpetuity we promise to “Remember Them” every year on October 1st.
